Ingredients of Pork Schnitzel
4 boneless pork chops
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 ½ cups breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions for making Pork Schnitzel:
Prepare the Pork Chops:
Place each pork chop between two sheets of plastic wrap.
Use a meat mallet to pound the chops to about ¼ inch thickness.
Season the Pork:
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Set Up the Breading Station:
In a shallow dish, place the flour.
In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
In a third dish, spread out the breadcrumbs.
Bread the Pork:
Dredge each pork chop in the flour, shaking off any excess.
Dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Finally, press the pork chop into the breadcrumbs, coating it evenly.
Set the breaded chops aside on a plate.
Fry the Schnitzels:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the pork chops.
Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
Transfer the cooked schnitzels to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve:
Serve the pork schnitzels hot, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh parsley.
Enjoy this crispy and tender Pork Schnitzel with a side of mashed potatoes, a fresh salad, or your favorite vegetable.
