Ingredients of Paneer Tikka:
300g paneer, cut into cubes
1 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
1 onion, cut into chunks
1 bell pepper (capsicum), cut into chunks
1 tomato, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Chat masala for garnish
Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
Instructions for making Paneer Tikka:
In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to form the marinade.
Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to marinate.
Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers, alternating with chunks of onion, bell pepper, and tomato.
Brush the skewers with vegetable oil.
Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer and vegetables are lightly charred and cooked through.
Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with chat masala.
Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
Serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
