Balsamic Glazed Chicken

Ingredients of Balsamic Glazed Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions for making Balsamic Glazed Chicken:

In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the balsamic glaze over the chicken, reserving the other half for later.
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade from the dish or bag.
Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
While the chicken is grilling, transfer the reserved balsamic glaze to a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until it thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked, brush it with the thickened balsamic glaze on both sides.
Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.
Serve the Balsamic Glazed Chicken hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes like roasted vegetables, salad, or mashed potatoes.
